Brand Whores?

So here's the new "trendy thing" in the hipster crowd(Mikey I hope you're taking notes. I expect your spin on it within weeks). The name they gave the a la mode items is retarded: Brand Whores; but apparently reworking a huge corporate logo into your hipster wardrobe makes you in the know.
Thrift store flannel - check
Fixie - check
Too cool to be anywhere - check
Another advertisement but she made an old burger king sweatshirt into a dress - check
Granted it is poking a little bit of fun at these conglomerates, which I quite enjoy but most of the examples I've seen have been pretty lame. One however did seem pretty intelligent to me:
